Food Photography Mentorship / Coaching Sessions With Roberta

If you're not sure why your photos don't "sing" or communicate what you want, if you still feel insecure behind the camera, if you don't know how to express yourself through it...

If you're not 100% sure how to manipulate light, use that Lightroom tool, or style that napkin...

Then my food photography mentorship sessions are the right tool for you in order to become an even better photographer than what you already are!

If you have any questions before purchasing a session, email me at [email protected] to schedule a free call.

    About me and my background

Am I the right mentor for you? Yes or no?

    My food photography mentorship program

    About me (short intro, promise!)

Hey there! In case you still don't know me (maybe you just found me), first of all: nice to meet you and welcome to my food blog 🙂
This is the place where I share recipes, but also 'delicious' food photography to bring you joy and make you feel hungry!

My name is Roberta Dall'Alba and I'm a professional food photographer.
In the past, I've worked with international magazines and brands, like Barilla and Samsung.
I also recently started a collaboration with Nikon (read this post and watch this video to find out more).

When I was a little girl I used to play pretending I was a teacher... I also made my parents buy a slate chalkboard!

That's maybe the reason why I recently noticed I had this desire to start teaching food photography (and YOU, in your DMs, asked too!)

How are these 1:1 food photography mentorship sessions organized?

First thing first, I'd like to highlight that these sessions are tailored to your needs.
They won’t be organized like food photography courses. We’re going to discuss YOUR doubts, YOUR goals, YOUR questions.

How are these different from an online course? Well, it will be just you and me, so I'm 100% "yours", meaning that in our call we can focus on YOUR learning and goals.

If you want to know how it works (before-during-after), please keep reading.

    BEFORE the session

If you're interested in these coaching sessions:

    1. CLICK HERE to purchase the best session for you (1 hour, 2 hours or ongoing mentorship)
    2. After purchasing, I'll send you a questionnaire to fill out and a few dates: you will choose the right day and time for you - IMPORTANT: consider my time zone is CET (GMT+1).
If the time doesn't work for you, don't worry, we will arrange a time that does.
    3. You'll then receive a Zoom link via email.

    DURING the session

We will talk about any topic you want, but focusing on your doubts and goals.

During our session, we can discuss:

    • Lighting (how it works, how to manipulate it, how to use the light you already have as best you can, different moods…),
    • Composition techniques
    • Food and prop styling
    • Storytelling
    • Editing (how to make the most out of Lightroom)
    • Business

Image critique: You will select and send a few images of yours that you’re not convinced of (ideally 3-5 depending on the kind of session), and I will help you understand what’s not working.

    AFTER the session

I'll send you the recorded call.
You can also send me 1 more email to ask for any other advice.

    Packages

Available packages are: 1 hour session, 2 hours session. (click here)

1 hour session is for you if: you have to perfect your skills and have doubts that can be solved relatively "quickly" (which doesn't mean though I'm going to make light of them, give less importance).

2 hours session is for you if: have a bit more doubts and want to examine them even more in depth.

    Am I the right mentor?

Photography mentorship sessions are something that literally change the quality of your photos, your skills and elevate your career.

If you want to work with someone dedicated and passionate about what she does, you found her...that's me!
I love sharing my knowledge, I always put 100% of myself in what I do, and always aim for the best. Basically, I want you to be a food photography rockstar!

Want to see some of my photos?

If you want to see some of my photos, please take a look at my portfolio here.
Remember though, my photography style doesn't influence what I teach: we can learn together how to shoot darker scenes, or brighter ones!

Do you have other questions about my food photography mentorship sessions?

If you have questions about these 1:1 coaching sessions packages, please don't hesitate to contact me by sending an email to [email protected] or contact me on Instagram.
